Pacific Fleet corvette Gremyashchiy practices using Otvet anti-submarine missile system at simulated target

The Pacific Fleet corvette Gremyashchiy has launched a missile of the newest anti-submarine system Otvet at an underwater simulated target located in the Sea of Japan.

The warhead of the anti-submarine missile has successfully striken the simulated target.

The training fire area was cordoned by 15 ships and vessels of the Pacific Fleet.

The Otvet anti-submarine missile system is designed for delivering missiles aimed at submarines. Missiles are fired by universal launchers that are also apt for Oniks and Kalibr cruise missiles.
