It is Proposed to Organize Information Exchange between RA Police and RF Ministry of Internal Affairs More Operatively and Efficiently

According to the RA Deputy Head of Police Ara Fidanyan, at December 7 sitting, parliament debated the drat law on Ratifying the Agreement on Information Cooperation and Electronic Information Exchange on issues related to Competence of Internal Affairs Bodies of the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Russian Federation. The Agreement was signed in Moscow, 2021.

With the ratification of the document, the information exchange between subdivisions determined by the RA Police and the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs will be possible to organize more operatively and efficiently. As the Deputy Head of Police has said, the information received within the framework of the Agreement will be used only for official purposes and will not be transferred to any third party without a written consent. "Information that is a state secret will not be exchanged too," the rapporteur added.
