211 is Helping Get Out the Vax

Dear United Way friends,

Do you know someone without internet access having trouble scheduling a vaccine appointment? Or someone who has an appointment, but no transportation? If so, please have them call United Way 211.

United Way of Greater Cincinnati is helping senior citizens, marginalized communities, the digitally challenged and those without transportation navigate the quickest path to vaccination.

We played a key role over the past few months in dispensing vaccine information. For those who could not access online resources -mostly senior citizens - our 211 help line connected them to information about scheduling and, in some cases, scheduled them. We also reached out to our key contacts in the Black faith community to schedule senior citizens and those who didn't have internet access, helping reduce vaccine inequity.

Now, we are supporting the Get Out the Vax events. Thousands of appointments will be available throughout the region! Let's get 80 percent of our community's adults vaccinated by July 4.
