Health Alliance Announces Launch of Hally Health

August 10, 2020

Health Alliance Medical Plans, Inc. (HAMP) (Champaign, IL) and its partner health plans are pleased to announce the launch of Hally™ health, a suite of wellness offerings and personalized health tools for members and the general public. The new health and wellness initiative builds on the success of the Hally™ mobile app that debuted in February.

Hally health provides members a variety of programs, resources, tools and more to help them lead their healthiest lives. This includes, among other offerings:

  • Health, wellness and prevention programs.
  • Exercise classes, health courses and cooking demos.
  • Resources at members' fingertips, with the Hally mobile app.
  • Hally Healthcast, a monthly wellness podcast led by medical experts.
  • Healthy living resources, publications, tips and tools.

Many of these resources can be found on hally.com, a new website that also launches today.

Additionally, as part of a growing community partnership, the Stephens Family YMCA of Champaign will produce fitness videos for Hally health that include dance, cardio, strength and Active Seniors workouts.

Health Alliance Medical Plans provides and administers health plans under multiple brands. Hally health was created to be a single, comprehensive wellness resource for members of all these plans. This includes those with OSF MedAdvangtage and Simplete® plans, and, beginning in 2021, members of FirstCarolinaCare Insurance Co. plans. In addition, the general public has access to the online wellness videos, blog articles, Hally Healthcast episodes and a variety of free health resources available on hally.com.

"With health foremost on everyone's mind, we wanted to give our members and the public an easy-to-use, one-stop resource for their health and wellness needs," Health Alliance President and Chief Executive Officer Dennis P. Hesch said. "We truly feel this will empower people to lead their healthiest lives."

In the months to come, Hally health will continue to introduce additional programs and resources. To learn more about the initiative, we encourage interested to visit hally.com.
