Planned Closures on 3rd Ave S/State Route 4/US 78, in Jefferson County

Weather permitting, beginning Wednesday, May 1 the Alabama Department of Transportation will be performing milling, resurfacing and temporary strip work on 3rd Ave S/State Route 4/US 78.

Work will be done on Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this maintenance operation to improve Alabama's roadways.
