The first Department of Art game night on December 3 was a huge success. Guests from across campus and the local community joined us to play original games proudly made by art students. Eight teams of students from Studio Art and Art History collaborated this semester to create tabletop games with digital components about important topics in the history of art. Students produced the videos, boxes, boards, rule books, cards and tokens. Professor Matt Forrest's students designed the games, and Dr. Elissa Auerbach's students researched the art historical content and structured the game mechanics. The games are currently on display in Ennis Hall (1st floor crit. walls). Come take a look!
