Valdez Parks & Recreation is currently accepting applications to fill multiple openings for the position of lifeguard at the Valdez City Pool. No experience is necessary! We offer paid training, a competitive starting wage ($16.32 per hour), and a flexible schedule to meet your personal needs. This is the perfect opportunity to build your resume, learn teamwork, and develop lifelong leadership skills! All potential candidates must be at least 15 years old and be able to pass the pre-swim test (swim 200 yards, tread water for 2-minutes, and retrieve a 10 lbs. brick from the bottom of the pool).
