First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Ruslan Tsalikov and Deputy Defence Minister General of the Army Pavel Popov visited the main exhibits of the Innovation Day of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation exhibition held in the ERA Military Innovation Technopolis, which presents more than 120 new projects.

On behalf of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, Ruslan Tsalikov and Pavel Popov took part in the acceptance of the Research and Production Centre, created in the technopolis, inspected its buildings and equipment.

At the static exposition in front of the research and production centre, the deputy heads of the military department, in particular, examined a sample of 80 mm MS-522 multiple launch rocket system combat vehicle designed to engage area, group and single targets, including objects of armored vehicles , easily vulnerable equipment, manpower, both openly located and located in fortifications of open and closed types of Splav development.

Marker experimental platform was also presented, intended for testing, studying and practical implementation of all the most advanced technologies related to vision systems, high-speed drives, navigation and hybrid power plants. The development of the technical vision system, which has no analogues in the world, was carried out directly by the operators of the scientific companies of the ERA Technopolis.

Ruslan Tsalikov and Pavel Popov also examined the first demonstrator of aviation weapons with a domestic neuroprocessor on board, the automated Passport system with the Kvarts mobile information system, the hardware and software complex for processing species information from Earth remote sensing devices using neural network technologies.

During his visit to the Innovation Day of the Russian Ministry of Defence, Deputy Defence Minister Ruslan Tsalikov set the task for the developers to introduce new equipment as quickly as possible.

The head of the ERA Military Innovation Technopolis, Lieutenant-General Vladimir Ivanovsky, reported to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, via video communication about the readiness of the Research and Production Centre for opening.

The exhibition Innovation Day of the Ministry of Defence of Russia in the ERA technopolis was held from 7 to 9 April.
