Hoeven Statement on Passing of ND Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem

BISMARCK, N.D. - Senator John Hoeven today released the following statement of condolence after the passing of North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.

"Attorney General Stenehjem spent the last four decades of his life serving North Dakota. As North Dakota's longest-serving Attorney General, he will be remembered for his tireless work to keep our communities safe who took great pride in supporting North Dakota law enforcement. Wayne was a fierce advocate for the people of North Dakota," said Hoeven. "Mikey and I will remember him as a true friend and colleague, and a loving husband and father. Our prayers are with Beth and the entire Stenehjem family."
