Employment and Labour takes services to the people of Secunda, 16 to 17 Sept

Mpumalanga Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) taking services to the people of Secunda

The Mpumalanga Department of Employment and Labour through its entities led by Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will be embarking on a two-day campaign of 'Taking services to the people of Secunda.'

The following services will be rendered:

COID-related enquiries, Covid19 TERS enquiries, new UIF applications, claims assessment, processing of payments, resolution of UIF enquiries, work-seeker registration and inspection services

According to Ms Margaret Mazibuko, Mpumalanga Chief Director: Provincial Operations (CDPO), the province will be implementing the integrated services of the department in a single campaign in line with the district service delivery campaign.

This requires government departments to work in an integrated manner to deliver service that is responsive, adaptive and brings development to where it is needed most, effectively; efficiently and economically.

This process will ensure that the communities receive all the departments' services at one place.

Herewith the service delivery campaign dates:

Date: 16 - 17 September 2021

Time: 9:00 - 16:00 (16 September 2021)
09:00 - 14:00 (17 September 2021)

Members of the public that wish to be assisted on the above-mentioned services are encouraged to bring along the following documents:

  • ID Documents/Valid Passport
  • Completed UI-19 form & Salary Schedule
  • Proof of residence
  • Bank stamped UI-2.8 form

The service delivery campaign will be managed in compliance with COVID-19 regulations.
