Meet Our Director of Business Development: Laura Bogira

Welcome Laura Bogira to Our Team at Freedom Home Care!

We at Freedom Home Care are excited to announce a new addition to our wonderful team as Director of Business Development. Please join us in welcoming Laura Bogira, a seasoned RN/BSN with over 18 years of rich experience in the healthcare industry. Laura has a broad background ranging from working in hospital employee health and workers' compensation programs to serving as a nurse liaison for home infusion and home health care companies. She is passionate about utilizing her extensive skills to improve the quality of life for our clients, helping them to age in place with dignity and comfort.

About Laura

Originally from Ohio, Laura attended the University of Dayton, where her passion for helping others was matched only by her skill on the soccer field as a Division I player. It was also through soccer that she met her husband in Chicago in 2008. Married for eleven wonderful years, they are proud parents to three energetic children: Kayla (8), Lincoln (6), and Sophia (3). Their family is completed by Bobo, a bichon/terrier mix who notably served as the ring bearer at their wedding.

Laura and her family are avid travelers and enjoy experiencing new cultures and cuisines, although she admits that their travel has become less frequent with the busy life of parenting. Committed to a healthy, active lifestyle, Laura finds time for running, biking, barre, and Pilates, enjoying the outdoors whenever possible.

A Personal Drive

Laura's dedication to home care deepened through a personal experience-the loss of her mother to breast cancer last year. Witnessing her mother's struggle, she developed a profound empathy for those managing home care for aging parents. This personal journey has imbued her with a passionate commitment to her work at Freedom Home Care, where she looks forward to making a significant impact.
