Austin Public Health PSH Services Solicitation

RFA-006-Permanent Supportive Housing Services 2021-MS

The Austin Public Health (APH) seeks applications in response to this Request for Application (RFA) from qualified social services providers (Applicants) to provide Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) supportive services to individuals and households experiencing chronic homelessness. The awarded agency will rapidly find housing for the referred household. All referred households will have been awarded ongoing rental assistance vouchers from area Public Housing Authorities, either the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) or the Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC).

Funding and Timeline

Department: Austin Public Health

Application Due Date: October 13, 2021 by 3 PM CST

Total Funding Amount: $1,050,000

Applicants may apply for a minimum of $350,000 per 12-month contract term. Austin Public Health anticipates awarding up to three Agreements.

Contract Term: The Agreements will have an effective start date of November 2021 for a 12-month period, and three 12-month extension options. All extension options are conditional upon City Council approval of the Budget.

2. Be a registered user in the Partnergrants system, go to the Partnergrants website and click on "Register Here."

Note that the organization's City of Austin Vendor number is required to complete registration in Partnergrants.
