SMBC partners with Marathon Capital

Shearman & Sterling advised Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation ("SMBC") as it entered a strategic alliance with Marathon Capital for collaboration in the ESG-related space.

The goal of this strategic alliance is to offer clients advanced ESG-related advisory services related to energy transitioning, by leveraging SMBC's global network and financing solutions capabilities and Marathon Capital's sector know-how and investor network.
