Press release by the Prime Minister, Minister of State, on the result of the signature collection for a referendum on the proposal to revise Chapter II of the Constitution

The verification of the results regarding the number of signatures collected by each municipality gives the following total number:

• Registrations received: 966
• Invalid entries: 2
• Valid registrations: 964

As the total number of valid registrations is less than 25,000 signatures, the request of 14 March 2022 to hold a referendum on the proposal to revise Chapter II of the Constitution was not successful.

The determination and establishment of the result may be challenged by any voter before the Administrative Court within five days of the date of publication of the results in the Official Journal of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mémorial A, under penalty of preclusion.
