Vishay Infrared Through-Hole Emitters Now Available at TTI

Fort Worth, Texas - July 28, 2021 - TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now stocking the TSAL6100 family of High Power Infrared Emitters from Vishay. These through-hole LED products are targeted for medical data collection, light barriers, kiosks, IR Touch panels and critical sensing applications.

Vishay's TSAL6100 is an infrared, 940nm high power diode in GaAlAs multi quantum well (MQW) technology with high radiant power and high speed molded in a blue-gray plastic leaded package. These emitters are available in industry standard T-1¾ body with a focused beam pattern of ϕ = ± 17° for critical sensing applications in safety light curtains and long-distance sensing. They are spectrally matched to Vishay's phototransistor and photodiode product offering and feature a robust design for ruggedized industrial and commercial operating requirements.
