Telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The heads of state discussed the pressing issues of relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the light of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 2-3, 2022.

The presidents also exchanged views on issues of regional security and cooperation between the two countries within the framework of regional and international organizations.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan supported the efforts of the leadership of Uzbekistan aimed at stabilizing the situation in Karakalpakstan of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
