Travel Tracker can be completed up to 8 days before journey from tomorrow

Tuesday 19 October 2021

From tomorrow, people filling out their information on the Travel Tracker ahead of a journey to the Bailiwick of Guernsey will be able to do so up to 8 days before the journey.

This is increased from the current 2 days.

This change follows the introduction of new travel rules on 4 October which brought the Bailiwick's rules more in line with those of the UK, and it should make completing the Travel Tracker easier for travellers as it gives them more time to do it at their convenience.

As part of the Travel Tracker form, people are required to provide their travel history covering the 10-day period prior to their arrival in the Bailiwick. Now that they will be able to enter these details 8 days before they travel, it is possible people may find their plans change and the travel history they have provided is no longer correct. This can be updated by completing a new 'Pre-Arrival form' on the Travel Tracker which reflects the new travel history details. When you arrive in the Bailiwick, your declaration must be accurate.
