In the first ever Demolition Derby, Fafa Picault was named IBX Live Fearless Man of the Match for the first time in the 2017 season.
Picault played the full 90 minutes on the left side of the pitch and served as another dangerous weapon for the Union. Utilizing his speed, Picault's footwork gave the Union scoring chances, especially late in the match when paired up on the wings with Marcus Epps.
But as dangerous as he was on the ball, he was even better off the ball. Picault had four interceptions in the match, leading the charge in the Union's transition offense. He added in one recovery, and had seven recoveries on the afternoon.
Picault and the Union will be back in action Saturday, when the team hosts DC United on Fireworks Night.
