Tehran: Islamic Republic of Iran will be based in Doha, Qatar for their final phase of training for the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019.
The Iran squad, led by head coach Carlos Queiroz, will be based at the Aspire Academy in Doha on December 10-January 2.
Three-time AFC Asian Cup winners Iran are seeking a first title since 1976, having not advanced past the quarter-final stage for the last three editions of the Continental showpiece.

Ahead of the training camp in Doha, Iran are scheduled to play international friendly matches against Trinidad & Tobago (November 15) and Venezuela (November 20).
They are also expected to play several friendly matches during the December training camp, having defeated Bolivia 2-1 during the October international window.
Asia's top ranked team are in Group D of the AFC Asian Cup 2019 with Iraq, Vietnam and Yemen. They play Yemen in their opening match on January 7 followed by Vietnam five days later and Iraq (January 16).
