Visit of Members of FICCI Ladies Organisation, Bhubaneswar

As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrating 75 years of Independence, 16 members of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) headed by Ms Sunita Mohanty, Chairperson, FLO Bhubaneswar visited INS Chilka on 28 August 2021. FLO is the women's wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry FICCI with its headquarters in New Delhi. The organisation has been promoting entrepreneurship and professional excellence among women through workshops, seminars, conferences, training and capacity building programmes. On arrival, the FLO team hoisted the National Tricolour at Watermanship Training Centre in the presence of Commodore NP Pradeep, Commanding Officer as well as Mrs Bindu Pradeep, President, Navy Wives Welfare Association (NWWA) Chilka along with officers, sailors and ladies of the Station. Later they were given a presentation on history and role of INS Chilka with special emphasis on the community outreach activities undertaken by NWWA. The ladies of FLO were also taken on a guided tour of the Naval Station showcasing the various training as well as NWWA facilities.
