G7 Non-Proliferation Directors Group statement, April 2024

In this statement, the G7 Non-Proliferation Directors Group recognised significant challenges to global security. These include potential threats from emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI), the development of chemical and biological weapons, and growing regional tensions.

Despite these challenges, the G7 remains steadfast in its commitment maintaining peace and security by upholding international arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation efforts. The G7 is working closely with the Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction.
