The air defence forces on duty at the Leningrad naval base destroyed a mock air enemy

In the Leningrad naval base of the Baltic Fleet, with the air defence forces on duty, a planned exercise was held to detect air targets and repel mock enemy strikes.

The crews of the ships were put on alert, and the means of electronic and visual camouflage were activated. The duty shift of the base control center practiced in the control of air defence forces and means in the conditions of air strikes on the base point and ships. They also worked out ways of targeting and setting fire tasks through various communication channels.

These trainings are taking place as part of the preparation of crews for the upcoming ships to sea, during which joint artillery firing at sea, air, coastal targets will be carried out both by single ships and as part of strike groups.
