CHICAGO, IL - Kevin Williams, a Member in Clark Hill's Customs & International Trade Law Business Unit, recently appeared on local CLTV Politics Tonight, 'How Trump Tariffs, Trade Deals will Impact Illinois' broadcast. Williams discussed how much Illinois relies on exports as it pertains to our economy and what has been threatened in relation to exporters.
'Illinois is a big exporting state, particularly with respect to agriculture and machinery,' said Williams. 'We have placed duties on steel and aluminum being imported into the U.S. Farmers are going to be hurt… the equipment that they want to buy is going to be more expensive, because it's made of steel and aluminum.'
