The first competitive day of the all-army field training competition Seaborne Assault-2021 has ended in Vladivostok. It will be attended by teams of marines from the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea and Pacific Fleets, the Caspian Flotilla, the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School and the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School.

At the training ground of the Pacific Fleet Gornostay, the marines overcame the route of the Scout Trail with a total length of 600 meters, equipped with 18 obstacles. These include a dilapidated building, a brick wall and a moat with water, a wooden fence, a wire network, a section of railway with water pipes, a blockage, and others. Two teams started at the same time, in the order that was set by the draw the day before.

In accordance with the regulations of the competition, each participant performed the exercise in a military uniform with a standard weapon. In case of violation of the rules when passing obstacles, additional seconds of penalty time were added to the team's total time. At this stage, the soldiers earned individual points, the sum of which is determined by the strongest squad.

The best time at the distance was shown by the servicemen of the Baltic Fleet. The marines of the Northern Fleet finished second, and the team of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School took the third place.

On June 4, the second, two-day stage of the competition will start at the Gornostay training ground, during which participants will have to pass the Survival Trail.
