Dentons Paz Horowitz has the only lawyer member of the Investment Migration Council in Ecuador

Ecuador-Xavier Montes de oca, Legal Director of the Migration area at Dentons Paz Horowitz, became the only member of the Investment Migration Council in Ecuador at the beginning of October of the present year.
The Investment Migration Council (IMC) is an association that sets global standards for investment migration and citizenship investment. It was founded by expert leaders who bring together key stakeholders in the field, giving the industry a voice.
IMC also interacts with governments, other professional associations and international organizations such as the UN, which are related in different branches to investment migration. Among its objectives is to improve public understanding of the problems faced by clients and governments within this area. In the same way, it promotes the education and high standards of professionals among its members.
Xavier has more than 12 years of experience providing legal advice on all issues related to migration, immigration, and human mobility in Ecuador, both in naturalization processes, recognition of nationality, identification of foreigners, as well as in obtaining visas for non-immigrants/temporary residence and immigrants/permanent residence in favor of beneficiaries in the country, and in the various Consulates of Ecuador abroad.
After this achievement, Xavier is positioned as the only Ecuadorian part of the IMC, opening the doors to a global vision on the migration of investments in the country, which means a better understanding of the market, creating greater value for its clients from any sector or industry.
