New program helps to advance career mobility and attract and retain talent critical to executing Kohl's strategy to become the most trusted retailer for the active and casual lifestyle

Today, Kohl's announced a new benefit program available to associates that will cover 100% of tuition, books and other related fees as part of its debt free education program. The program, powered by Guild Education the nation's leading education and upskilling platform, is introduced as part of Kohl's efforts to offer its associates comprehensive benefits that help to advance career mobility and attract and retain talent critical to executing Kohl's strategy to become the most trusted retailer for the active and casual lifestyle.

Beginning early spring, all eligible Kohl's associates will be able to enroll in one of Kohl's 120+ fully funded programs where associates can earn certificates, associates and bachelors degrees in areas such as business, technology, data analytics, and supply chain, and also offers courses for high school completion, college prep, English language, and more. Kohl's will also be covering other related expenses such as books and mandatory fees to help offset other costs of continued education. The catalog of programs, which will be available through a curated selection of learning partners, was designed with Guild Education to help associates achieve their educational and professional goals without having financial barriers stand in the way.

"We know Kohl's is filled with incredibly smart and talented people who have the capabilities to make a meaningful impact in a variety of areas of our business, but may not have the formal education or training to make the leap to a different department, or elevate to higher positions. With the introduction of Kohl's new education benefit program, we are working to alleviate the barriers that might have prohibited their continued education, and provide them with an opportunity to learn new skills, advance their careers and create better lives for their future," said Marc Chini, Kohl's chief people officer. "This program is also instrumental to Kohl's focus on building a culture of learning. A culture that enables education, growth and opportunities for our associates. Because when our associates grow and continue to advance in their careers, we as an organization succeed too."

Kohl's associates continue to be a driving force in the company's strategy to become the trusted retailer of choice for the active and casual lifestyle. The introduction of Kohl's education benefit program is another way the company is investing in associates' talents so they can continue to offer new ideas and solutions that lead the company forward.
