YORK, Pa.- Action continued on day three of the PSAC men's swimming championships Friday at the York County YMCA.
After three days of competition, the Clarion Golden Eagles remain in fifth place with 247 team points. IUP sits in sixth place with 182 points, while Shippensburg is fourth with 270 points.
West Chester leads the field with 632 team points.
Clarion's got off to a great start, taking home a seventh-place finish in the 500 Free, touching the wall in a final time of 4:42.23 for 12 team points.
The big highlight Friday came in the 100 Breaststroke with Josh Thruston taking home a third place finish, touching the wall with a final time of 57.09 for 16 team points. Teammate picked up a sixth-place finish for 13 team points respectively.
excelled in the 200 Fly finishing in third place with a final time of 1:50.77 for 16 team points.
The PSAC Championships will conclude tomorrow in York with the final events starting at 5 pm.
