TOMORROW @ 2PM: Hearing on DHS's Efforts to Combat the Opioid Epidemic

(WASHINGTON) - Tomorrow, May 18th at 2pm, the Subcommittee on Border Security, Facilitation, and Operations, chaired by Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán (D-CA), will hold a hearing to examine the Department's strategy to combat fentanyl and illicit drugs from entering our borders. Federal witnesses will discuss the resources and authorities used for seizing opioids at land, air, and sea ports of entry, as well as at international mail facilities. Witnesses will also discuss successes, challenges, and recommendations to reduce the flow of opioids into American communities.
