Rep. Zeldin Questions UN Ambassador on Golan Heights, Sanctioning of Sali Berisha, UNRWA Textbooks, and UN Peacekeeping Missions

WASHINGTON - At today's House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) questioned US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield about whether or not the Biden Administration recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, the reasoning behind the State Department's decision to sanction former Albanian President Sali Berisha, what steps she is taking to ensure that UNRWA is making the necessary changes to taxpayer funded textbooks that attempt to delegitimize Israel, and whether there are any UN peacekeeping missions that the Ambassador believes should be winding down or cut.
