Join the community on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Sears Centre Arena from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for FREE family-friendly fun at the largest, indoor Celtic fest in the region! The eighth annual Northwest Celtic Fest offers free admission, free entry and free entertainment, including bounce houses, trackless train rides, games and activities for children of all ages.
This event highlights the community's Celtic heritage with live entertainment on two stages, featuring Ar Ais Aris, Mulligan Stew, Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance, Academy of Irish Music, Baal Tinne, Thistle and Heather Highland Dancers, Dundee Highlanders Pipe Band, and They Might Be Irish.
Additional attractions include a Celtic marketplace, visits with clan representatives, birds of prey and returning favorites, Great Lakes Irish Wolfhound Association. A celebration of craft beer will also be featured with opportunities to sample a variety of craft brews.
The Celtic Fest Commission is 'food raising' this year! Although not required for entry, guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to support local food pantries that help Hoffman Estates residents.
