Young Hull FC centre Cameron Scott has hailed the efforts of his England Academy teammates after their 2-0 series victory over Australia.
Scott captained the side in both victories against the Schoolboys, with the series whitewash confirmed on Friday evening with an 18-6 victory at Headlingley.
And while praising the efforts of his teammates in the victory, Scott has said he feels an immense sense of pride leading the side to the series win.
Speaking to hullfc.com, Scott said: 'It was an outstanding effort from the full squad. It still hasn't sunk in from Friday yet about what we as a group have managed to achieve.
'We're only the fourth team to beat Australia in England rugby history, with the academies only managing it once before. To beat one of the best teams in the world in the Aussies, it really doesn't get much better than that.
'On a personal note, it was a real honour to captain the team and something that I really enjoyed doing. They're a special group to lead, and it's something that I'll hold with me throughout my career.
