Posted: 7/6/2022

Effort will allow more children, adolescents to receive care

In an effort to increase access to care for Dallas Independent School District students Parkland Health is consolidating its Youth & Family Centers from 11 centers to 4 centers that will be open 5 days a week. Currently, Parkland's Youth & Family Centers are open an average of 1 to 3 days per week.

Parkland's centers scheduled for closure will do so on Friday, July 8. The consolidated sites will open on Monday, July 11.

"Consolidating these centers will allow us to expand access to children and adolescents 5 days a week and provide a medical home.
