The plenary session of the Meshrano Jirga which held in two parts by the speaker and deputy speaker of the senate, The Deputy Minister of Education was asked about the challenges of this ministry.

At the session, Senator Amena Afzali, Deputy of the commission for Education, Culture, and Higher Education and other members, raised questions about the shortage of textbooks and professional teachers, the shortage of school supplies, the formation of 11,000 teachers in Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces, different tuition fees in private schools, lack of funding and formation at the provincial center level, lack of close oversight of the education process in most districts and private schools, teaching science subjects by non-professionals, lack of attention to third language speakers, the process of hiring teachers and the employment of three percent of people with disabilities in accordance with the law in this ministry and other issues were raised in the session.

Ataullah wahidyar, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, while Acknowledging the shortage of teachers and textbooks, he said the ministry spends 92 per cent of its budget on staff and teachers' salaries and another 2 per cent on school hostels, and the remaining six per cent left for other facilities. He added that they are working on a new system for integrating subjects in the Ministry of Education, which will address the shortage of teachers by implementing this system. regarding the publication of education textbooks, he said that this work is done abroad by donors and in the next few weeks these textbooks will be distributed to the country's education and their discussions with the Independent Administrative Reform Commission on the employment of teachers are ongoing and this problem will be resolved soon. Regarding the identification of employees of the ministry of education, he said that they have biometrics of 85 percent of their employees, of which 15 percent

have remained out of the process due to security in the provinces and will be biometric in the near future. The Deputy Minister of Education added that they supervise private schools in terms of teaching quality and in the section of paying the educational fee, the parents of their students decide based on their ability and they do not have any involvement in the field. Moreover, the senators said in open discussion, Unfortunately, the casualties of civilians and military have increased recently and only yesterday six people were martyred in separate terrorist incidents in Kabul and there have been several targeted killings in the city of Uruzgan, which has caused serious concern to citizens, and security officials, especially the General Directorate of National Security, must take immediate and urgent measures to control the situation. It was also said that some foreign embassies in Kabul had warned their nationals of insecurity and that they should share it with the Afghan government if they had any information.

During the session It was said at the that Javed Panjshiri, the police chief of Dehyak district of Ghazni province, had recently been mysteriously martyred and his family claimed that Dehyak district governor was involved in the incident and it was emphasized that this case should be thoroughly investigated by the authorities and to satisfy the family of that martyr. Recalling the Taliban's lack of commitment to peace in Afghanistan, a number of members called on the government and the Taliban to make the most of the opportunity to strengthen the peace process in the country and put an end to the destructive war. They also stressed that politicians must obey the wishes and will of the people and put the interests of the country before their own personal interests in the peace process.

the senators while admiring the genuine and dedicated efforts of members of the armed forces, said that the country's security, defense and intelligence forces are capable of defending their people and country and now conduct more than 90 percent of military operations independently and if foreign forces leave Afghanistan, there will be no problem. Also, Helmand Senator Mohammad Hashim Alokozai and some other members criticized the unconventional and violent attitude of the Helmand police chief, saying that he had beaten and insulted a number of elders, one of whom had been martyred and seven others wounded and said that this case should be seriously pursued by the National Security Council.

Furthermore, Condolences to the families of the victims of workers in Pachira-gam district of Nangarhar province who were martyred in a traffic accident in Zabul province, criticism of the operation of 01 unite in Logar province which has caused the martyrdom of two person, welcoming the handover of 33 antiquities by the US government to the Afghan Embassy in Washington, emphasizing precautionary measures against the new corona wave, emphasizing the submission of foreign forces' facilities and equipment after their departure, and other issues were raised by the senators.

In summing up part of the session, Fazl Hadi Muslimyar, Speaker of the Meshrano Jirga, expressed his condolences and sympathy to the families of traffic accident in Zabul province in which 15 residents of Pachiragam district of Nangarhar province were martyred and a number of others were injured. He also condemned yesterday's assassinations in Kabul province and the killing of civilians in Logra province and called on the authorities to take serious action in these areas. Fazl Hadi Muslimyar expressed his sorrow over the incident in Helmand province and said that the action of the police chief of this province is very cruel and a delegation from the Meshrano Jirga will be sent to that province to investigate the case and assured that he will share this issue with the president and advisor of the National Security Council. The speaker added that war was not the solution to Afghanistan's problem and that peace should be restored.

Fazl Hadi Muslimyar expressed his sorrow over the incident in Helmand province and said that the action of the police chief of this province is very cruel and a delegation from the parliament will be sent to that province to investigate and assured that he will share this issue with the president and advisor of the National Security Council.

Fazl Hadi Muslimyar added that the country's armed forces have the necessary skills and the ability to defend national sovereignty, territorial integrity and borders of the country, which will not cause major problems after the withdrawal of foreign forces, and called on the people to stand with the defense forces.
