Twelfth season of Texas Tunes kicks off Feb. 12 with Hot Club of Cowtown
Hot Club of Cowtown will kick off the 12th season of the Texas Tunes concert series on Saturday, Feb. 12, 8 p.m., in the Huffines Performance Hall, Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street.
Since its beginnings in the late 1990s, the Hot Club of Cowtown's star has continued to rise as its reputation for jaw-dropping virtuosity and unforgettable live shows has become the band's global brand. Hot Club has always woven a combination of seemingly disparate styles together to its own magical effect. The Belfast Telegraph calls the Hot Club of Cowtown "a pretty much perfect country trio at the very top of their game,"
Tickets are $35 and $25. Tickets can be purchased at lewisvillegrand.com/tix. Lewisville residents may buy select $20 tickets in person with proof of residency at The Grand during normal business hours. Sales tax and ticket fees included in the price.
The Texas Tunes concert series features performers from music halls and festivals throughout the state who present great music in a variety of genres, but all with that unique Texas flair that has made the state a hotbed for fans of live music.
Masks are not required at this event, but anyone who feels more comfortable with a mask or has not been fully vaccinated is strongly encouraged to wear one when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
The Grand is Lewisville's home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events, including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.
To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
