Payments in NBS IPS system during New Year's night

The National Bank of Serbia's instant payment system is one of the most modern payment systems in the world. As it operates in the 24/7/365 regime, the citizens of Serbia were able to carry out transactions even during the New Year's night. Thus, the NBS IPS system executed 10,975 payments from 6 pm on 31 December 2020 until 8 am on 1 January 2021. Of this number, 1,540 payments were carried out between 11 pm and 3 am.
