Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment leads clean-up activities across the country as part of International Coastal Clean-up Day, 18 Sept

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment will be hosting clean-up activities across the country on Saturday,18 September 2021 for International Coastal Clean-up Day.

This year the day is commemorated under the theme: 'Keep Trash in the Bin and Not in the Ocean'.

The day will also conclude the National Clean-up and Recycle SA Week which is held annually every in September.

The Clean-up and Recycle Week SA initiative is intended to encourage communities to keep their environment clean and divert their waste away from the landfill sites through recycling, reusing and repurposing of waste materials.
