Route 1016 Little Mingo Road Bridge Replacement in Washington County POSTPONED

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that Route 1016 (Little Mingo Road), between Route 1059 (Sugar Run Road) and Beagle Club Road, is scheduled to close Monday, April 8 (originally Monday, April 1) in Nottingham Township, Washington County.

The closure is anticipated to continue through mid- to late June depending on weather and operations.

A posted detour will be in place using:

  • Route 1059 (Sugar Run Road).
  • Route 1061 (Mingo Church Road).
  • Route 88 (Union Street/Finleyville Road).
  • Route 1087 (Ginger Hill Road).

Crews from Frank Gavlik & Sons, Inc. will be replacing a bridge over a branch of Mingo Creek - an infrastructure investment of $987,000.
