"Being a CDU alum myself, it was an inspiring night learning about the brilliant work CDU alumni are doing in their community and being recognized for their achievements. A fantastic cause that Newmont can support highlighting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander CDU alumni and the positive impacts they are having in their community."

Bernard Fosu, Chief Engineer at Cripple Creek & Victor.

"The scholarship from Newmont Ahafo Development Foundation (NADeF) came at a time when my parents needed financial assistance to support my college education. I couldn't be more grateful. If I ever felt secure in my academic life, then I owe a great deal of gratitude to NADeF because I knew for a fact that every academic year my NADeF scholarship grant was going to be credited into my account. It afforded me the opportunity to buy books, handouts and even buy a laptop for academic work."

- Bernard Fosu (former NADeF scholarship beneficiary), Chief Engineer at Cripple Creek & Victor
