“All Together For Animals” Virtual Benefit Concert to Stream March 31

The concert will support Association of Zoos and Aquariums' members.

Silver Spring, MD (March 22, 2021) - Today, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) announces an interactive virtual music benefit concert - 'ALL TOGETHER FOR ANIMALS.' This all-star benefit concert will feature streamed original performances from Brad Paisley, Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Riley Green, Jessie James Decker, Shy Carter and Wynonna! The event emcee is Cody Alan, host of Country Music Television's Hot 20 Countdown and of iHeartRadio's CMT After Midnite and CMT Radio Live.

The program, produced by Contemporary Productions in St. Louis, Mo., builds awareness of the financial impact AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums have suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic, raising funds for these facilities.

'It costs $30,000 per day to feed and care for San Francisco Zoo's 2,000 animals and $34,000 per day to care for Tulsa Zoo's animals. These costs don't go away just because the aquarium or zoo is closed,' said Dan Ashe, President and CEO of the AZA. 'We are extremely fortunate to be able to partner with Contemporary Productions and some of country music's best artists to help raise funds for AZA-accredited aquariums and zoos. For each $30 e-Ticket purchased, $15 goes directly back to the AZA member you buy your ticket from. The performances were shot on location at the AZA-accredited Nashville Zoo at Grassmere and at the Steel Mill studios in Nashville, Tenn.

The event will be streamed on Wednesday, March 31st at 8:00 PM EDT, 7:00 PM CDT, 8:00 PM MDT, and 7:00 PM PDT. During the show, viewers will have the opportunity to make additional donations in real time, with proceeds directly benefiting their local zoo or aquarium.
