Terzic: 'Deservedly reached the semi-finals'

"It's a big deal for our club," said Edin Terzic about the progression to the last four, before thanking the fans and already looking ahead to the upcoming clash with PSG at the press conference.

Edin Terzic on the balance of play:
"Extremely happy, extremely satisfied and very, very proud of the team and the club. The atmosphere in the stadium was extraordinarily good. There were again two moments that hurt us and could've tipped the balance, but we never lost our belief and stuck with what makes us strong. If you watch both matches, we deservedly reached the semi-finals. It's a big deal for our club."

…on progression:
"This was a meeting between two teams that earned their place in the quarter-finals via a long and hard road. At this level, small details are decisive. And we had those small details on our side in this clash. We managed to score five goals in two matches against Atlético Madrid. Not many teams manage that."

…on the reaction from the South Stand:
"We sensed from the very first moment that everyone wanted to use this evening to channel our energy in the right direction. We saw last week how difficult it is to play against a team that receives the support of more than 70,000 people. We wanted to counter that today. Qualification for the semi-finals of the Champions League for the fourth time in Borussia Dortmund's history would not have been possible if we had not all believed in it."

…on the opponent in the semi-final:
"We've already played against PSG twice. We didn't like the first game in Paris at all. The second match in Dortmund was very different, close once again, but we managed to get closer to victory than they did. We're a much more solid team than we were in September or even December."
