1ts Departs Salalah

The ships of First Training Squadron departed Salalah and participated in a Maritime Partnership Exercise with Royal Navy of Oman. The ships had entered the port of Salalah, Oman on 18 April 2022 as part of Overseas Deployment. During the visit, the ships were visited by various high officials and dignitaries from Royal Navy of Oman. Interaction of H.E. Shri Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to Oman with Sea Trainees onboard Tir and visit by Cdr Sulaiyam Humaid Saleem Al-Shabibi, Acting Southern Naval Area Commander, Oman Navy were the highlights of the visits. Prominent members of Indian Community also visited INS Tir. IN addition, a group of school children were given a walk around onboard INS Tir and Sujata.
