The River Museum has been awarded over $30,000 in relief funding. A full release is included below.

We are proud to be part of this amazing group of institutions working to care for endangered species and rescued and confiscated wildlife at risk of extinction. These funds will support our ongoing efforts to care for these animals while providing impactful relief funding. During our 10-week closure during 2020, our organization saw to the continued care and related mechanical, water, and energy expenses for our entire population of approximately 2,000 animals. The funds awarded to our organization represent those specific to some of the endangered, rescued and confiscated wildlife in our care.
