Sniper Frontier preliminaries at Southern MD military base in Armenia

At the Kamkhud training ground in Armenia, among the military personnel of the Southern Military District (SMD), the qualifying stage of the field training competition Sniper Frontier of the International Army Games 2022 has started.

Servicemen, acting as part of sniper pairs and groups, must not only equip firing positions, but also identify targets as clearly as possible and hit them with sniper rifles.

Special attention is paid to camouflage using improvised and natural means, the use of modern rangefinders, weather stations, radio stations, intelligence, control and communication complexes.

More than 100 snipers of the unit take part in the exercises at the Kamhud high-mountain training ground. The best snipers will take part in the second stage of the competition among the most trained shooters.
