Administrative Actions

ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS

Applications to make minor changes to the properties at the addresses listed below have been received by the City.

  1. 736 Orcutt Rd. ARCH-0221-2021 & AFFH-0407-2022; Development Review of a new three-story mixed-use development consisting of 40 residential units for low-income households, and 850 square feet of commercial space. The project includes a density bonus of 80%, a maximum height extension of 40 feet where 35 is normally required, a parking reduction of 57%, a Creek Setback exception of 6 feet where 20 feet is normally required, a front yard setback exception of 10 feet where 15 feet is normally required, and a side yard setback of 5 feet, where 10 feet is normally required. Project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); C-S zone; San Luis Obispo Non-Profit Housing Corporation, applicant.(Kyle Bell)

  4. 1020 Ella St.FNCE-0678-2021; Request to allow a new 4-foot tall wood trash enclosure fence on top of an approximately 9-inch tall retaining wall for a combined height of approximately 4-feet-9-inches from adjacent grade located on the property line where a fence height of 3 feet is the standard height for this location. The Community Development Director will either approve or deny these applications no sooner thanAugust 8, 2022.

The Director's decision may be appealed, and must be filed with the appropriate appeal fee within 10 days of the Director's action.
