The Hilti Group has received awards from iF and Red Dot for four new products. The juries honored Hilti in terms of the design quality and degree of innovation of these products. In addition, Red Dot even named two of the products as "Best of the Best" category winners.

The juries for the product design competitions held by iF and Red Dot have this year awarded four new Hilti products for design quality and degree of innovation. According to a press release issued by the Hilti Group, the latest generation of the TE 3000-AVR jackhammer, the DX 6 fully automatic fastening tool, the DSW 1510-CA diamond wire saw and the AG 4S-A22 cordless angle grinder were all honored.

The press release explains further that the juries of the iF and Red Dot product design competitions evaluate products in terms of the design and ergonomics, degree of innovation as well as product quality and functionality. The TE 3000-AVR jackhammer and the automatic fastening tool DX 6 were additionally named as "Best of the Best" by Red Dot.

Regarding the products awarded the "Best of the Best" title, the press release states that the TE 3000-AVR jackhammer marks a technical and ergonomic breakthrough. Compared to its predecessor model, performance has been increased by 40 percent, weight has been reduced by 3 kilograms overall and vibration impact has been cut by 10 percent. The all-electric device therefore achieves a performance level of 45-kilogram jackhammers, but is around one third lighter and free of CO2 emissions.

The DX 6 automatic fastening tool is equipped with a new control system, which enables more uniform and accurate fastenings on concrete, sandstone, masonry or steel. There is also integrated networking to tool data and operating instructions.
