Managed Intelligent Connectivity and 5G Mobile Private Network Services

As I wrote in my last blog, Cisco and Logicalis have partnered for two decades, combining the Logicalis market-leading menu of value-added services with Cisco world-class hardware and software. This blog highlights two areas of our partnership I'm especially excited about -managed intelligent connectivity and 5G Mobile Private Network Services.

Managed Intelligent Connectivity Service

Over two thirds of SD-WAN deployments are expected to be delivered as a managed service by 2025. Meanwhile, the shift to SASE - of which SD-WAN is a part - is fostering new choices in enterprise network security. Cisco is working with Logicalis to help our mutual customers prepare for a future in which their WAN and edge can deliver continuous agility and business outcomes as their business dynamics change.

To this end, Logicalis Intelligent Connectivity is a SASE-based managed offering that delivers access and zero-trust security from edge to edge, with real-time insights into network, connectivity, and application performance - all managed by trusted experts at Logicalis and utilizing Cisco SD-WAN and SASE technologies.

For instance, the software-defined network (SDN) capability provided in Logicalis' Intelligent Connectivity solution is based on Viptela and Meraki SD-WAN offerings.

In addition, the Zero Trust Security Mesh capability - called the Logicalis SecureOnMesh solution - is built on Cisco Umbrella and SASE offerings. To this solution, Logicalis adds its own managed network services, which continuously monitor, maintain, update, expand, and optimize the customer's network. Logicalis also adds its user experience services to monitor, support, and optimize user experience.

5G Mobile Private Network Services

5G is destined to be a game changer across industries, helping to enable new use cases and improve operating efficiencies. Cisco Private 5G (P5G) helps businesses achieve improved connectivity by providing dedicated access to radio spectrum, which allows organizations to use 5G for mission-critical operations and processes. For example, in healthcare - where seconds count in saving lives - 5G-connected ambulances could transmit patient health data to hospital emergency room doctors in real time.

Leveraging Cisco P5G, Logicalis helps to bring managed 5G to enterprise customers, reducing their technical, financial, and operational risks with managed enterprise 5G networks. Given its deep expertise, international capability, and close partnership with Cisco, Logicalis is uniquely positioned to help our mutual customers integrate P5G into their enterprise networks.
