Gadbois Joins Memorial Care Clinics in Decatur, Sullivan

DECATUR - Dr. Stephanie Gadbois has moved her practice in family medicine to Memorial Care (previously DMH Medical Group) and will divide her time between offices in Decatur and Sullivan.

Gadbois received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.

She completed a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and Bachelor of Arts in anthropology at the University of Washington in Seattle and a Master of Science in public health tropical medicine and parasitology from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans.

Gadbois will see patients at Memorial Care (previously known as DMH Family Medicine), 4775 E. Maryland St., in Decatur on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She will see patients at Memorial Care (previously known as Sullivan Medical Center), 1220 W. Jackson St., Sullivan, on Fridays.

She had previously served at Memorial Care (formerly known as Memorial Physician Services-Lincoln). She is accepting new patients of all ages.

"When I meet a patient, I make an effort to connect with them because I believe it is very important for a patient to have a relationship with their physician," said Gadbois. "If a patient is not comfortable or is not in agreement with their care provider, the plan for that patient's health can't be successful."
