Thomas Hull has been named senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Kaleida Health.

"Tom has done a great job in the interim role this past year," Bob Nesselbush, Kaleida Health CEO. "In particular, he has worked extremely hard organizing our three-year IT strategic plan. That plan will no doubt help fuel our growth and transform our IT platform across Kaleida Health as well as Great Lakes Health."

Hull has been serving as the interim CIO since February 2021.

A 30-year leader veteran of information technology, Hull joined Kaleida Health as chief technology officer (CTO) after serving as CTO for CUNY, the City University of New York. He was recruited to the organization to help bring depth and bench strength to our IT team.

He has experience as a CIO and IT leader over the years in healthcare, higher education and academic medical center environments. This includes with CUNY, VCU Health, USF Health and Moffitt Cancer Center (Florida) and Pace New York Medical.

Hull has his Bachelor of Arts in computer information science from State University of New York at Potsdam and a Master of Science in computer engineering from Syracuse University. He is pursuing a Doctorate of Professional Studies (DPS) in computer science and information technology at Pace University.
