DALLAS - May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage month. Throughout the month, Dallas ISD will share a series of engaging stories and activities celebrating the impact of the history and culture of AAPI students, teachers, and other team members in our district.

Summer program enrollment now open
As the district prepares to close out another great school year, summer learning opportunities are opening up. With Dallas ISD's Summer Cool program, students can dive into a world of fun and hands-on activities that make learning a blast. Pre-K to eighth grade students are invited to join the action-packed days filled with games, learning, and new discoveries. Each day brings a new theme to explore, ensuring every student stays pumped up and eager to learn.

Student-athlete physicals are available at no cost
All student-athletes must pass an annual physical exam to compete in UIL sports. To assist with this requirement, Dallas ISD Athletics is partnering with Parkland Health to offer no-cost sports physical exams at 8 a.m., Saturday, May 4, at Ellis Davis Field House.
