The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation Unveils Emergency Department Imaging Wing to the Greene Family, Following $525,000 Donation

In 2020, Bill and Jane Greene and the W.H. Greene Foundation donated $525,000 to help alleviate financial challenges the pandemic was creating for families of Oishei Children's Hospital. To show our appreciation, we planned to dedicate the Emergency Department Imaging Wing in honor of Bill and Jane.

Sadly, Bill passed away after a courageous six-year battle with small cell lung cancer before we could safely gather for the dedication. On December 21, 2021, the family gathered for the dedication and honored their father and husband with touching remarks and a $130,000 donation in Bill's memory. Thank you to the Greene family for your incredible support and for continuing Bill's legacy of giving back.
